Prerequistites for Second Citizenship

Each country offering citizenship by investment programs have different requirements to obtain second citizenship and passport. Some programs require an interview, others require medical examinations and health records to prove a history of good health, while other do not require either. Nevertheless, all programs have the following requirements that are mandatory when applying;

? Must have a clean criminal record and of good character;

? Evidence showing the source of the investment funds that will be used in the host country

? Good financial status with no involvement in financial fraud

? Must invest in one of the applicant countries government-approved programs. Government Bonds, Property or National Economic Fund

? Must pass due diligence and background checks that will be conducted by the applicant country

? Good references from lawyers, bankers

? Clean travel record with no visa denials and cancellations
